We were contacted by a new customer whom had a treatment system that was installed 5-6 years ago when they purchased their home. They were given no information on the system or the service requirements. We scheduled an evaluation and found some pretty shocking Arsenic levels. We found the untreated arsenic levels were 184 parts per billion. The EPA’s maximum contaminant level for arsenic is 10 parts per billion!! NH will be implementing a new state standard of 5 parts per billion. We tested the treated water and found a range of 75-125 parts per billion getting through the system. The passive system that we replaced was a bad fit for the water profile! But because routing a drain line was extremely difficult the proper system was not installed originally. Where there is a will there is a way!! We were able to route a drain line through a finished ceiling to get to the drainage system especially thanks to our camera system that allowed us to snake a drain line through the ceiling! Now they have a system that will provide clean, safe and reliable water quality for many years to come!!
